The following is from
I am wondering why the
reporters on television,
radio and newspapers keep going on about how
all of a sudden Americans are pulling together for
a common cause. I think we do this everyday of our
lives. I am sure it is the same in your city as it is in mine.
If a call for help goes out for
a family in need we
respond with money, food, clothing and anything
else we can think of. I've seen teenagers holding
one car wash after another to help someone in need.
Perhaps someone has died and they have no insurance,
we band together and take care of that. How many
times have you heard of a family that lost everything
in a fire.....we respond in mass with money, food,
clothing, shelter, love and prayers.
We are a loving, helpful,
caring society. We take
care of our own, always have, always will.
We are proud and extremely patriotic! There is
no shame in that and you'll not find any either!
Our people believe in prayer, justice, family,
and love. We have a country full of heroes,
our firefighters, police officers, military people,
teachers, mothers, fathers, sons,
daughters, and more, oh so many more!
What a wonderful place to live!
The land of the free,
and the home of the brave! So we'll just smile to
ourselves the next time we hear them marvel at how
we have come together. We have been doing it all of
our lives.....we know what it takes to make this country
strong, it is neighbors helping neighbors, giving and
asking nothing in return. We were raised that way.
We do it without thinking about it.
